Tips for Using Your New Remote Trainer
Tips:
- Always use the lowest level necessary to train
- As soon as the dog starts to behave or do as commanded, let off of the stimulus
- Finding the level of stimulus that is right for your dog should be done using the foolowing technique. Use the remote trainer while the dog is on leash. Press and release the stimulus. Watch your dog for a slight reaction such as looking around, raising head, or quick movements. If your dog does not react, try the next level up. Only move one level at a time. This will ensure that you use only the stimulus needed.
