Defective Equipment Warranty:
Each warranty covers failure of the equipment due to defective material or workmanship past our Money Back period. The warranty is provided by the equipment manufacturer and is void if the equipment has been used for anything other than it's intended purpose, abused, or damaged due to dog chews,improper handling or installation or unauthorized repairs. Each manufacturer has its own specific warranty terms for its products. (The eCollarStore does not warranty the products it sells.) ("Used" equipment is warranteed for replacement only.)
WARNING - REMOVE ELECTRONIC COLLARS REGULARLY:
It is important that all types (brands) of electronic collars be snug enough that the probes have good and continuous contact with your pet's skin. It is VERY IMPORTANT however, that you remove the collar on a regular basis (perhaps at night or whenever otherwise possible) to avoid a possible condition refered to as Moist Pyoderma; a bacterial infection. This is a secondary condition to prolonged probe contact with the animal’s skin that may occur on SOME animals after only a few days without removing the collar. This condition is aggravated by wet conditions such as rain. The symptoms are a moist sometimes foul-smelling weepy area near the point of probe contact. The condition is usually treated with antibiotics and keeping the collar off the animal for ten or more days until the area is healed. The animal usually heals without complication. Considering the hundreds of thousands of animals wearing electronic collars, the incidence of this type of infection is very low. Always consult a veterinarian before treating your pet for any condition.
